Crown Center Ice Terrace

The Crown Center Ice Terrace 49th Season (2021 - 2022) is now open!

Enjoy Downtown Kansas City's public outdoor skating rink on Crown Center Square. 

Hours:

November, December and January

Sunday – Thursday, 10am – 9pm

Friday- Saturday, 10am – 11pm

 

February and March

Sunday, 10am -9pm

Monday – Thursday, 11am – 9pm

Friday, 11am – 10pm

Saturday, 10am – 10pm

 

Holiday Hours

Thanksgiving Day, 3pm – 10pm

Christmas Eve, 10am -6pm

Christmas Day, CLOSED

New Year’s Eve, 10am – 6pm

New Year’s Day, Noon – 11pm

 

At this time we are not requiring reservations for individuals or groups under 20 to skate at the Crown Center Ice Terrace this season.

 

ADMISSION

Adults and Children 4 and older:  $8

Children under age 4:  FREE with paid admission

Skate Rental:  $4

Season Passes are Back!  $90

Skate Sharpening:  $9

Group rates are available with reservation, call 816-274-8411, $8 per skater and includes skate rental.

 

GROUP RATES

Bring a group of 20 or more skaters Monday – Thursday or Friday before 6pm and get FREE skate rental.  RESERVATIONS REQUIRED. Sorry, group rates are not available on weekends or school holidays. Group Rates with reservation, 816-274-8411, $8 per skater.

 

PRIVATE PARTIES

You and a whole party of your friends can have the Ice Terrace all to yourselves.  It’s just $200 an hour for up to 300 skaters.  Skate rental is not included in the price.  Hold your party before or after regular hours (one hour minimum). For reservations, 816-274-8411.

 

LEARN TO SKATE

We offer group skating lessons affiliated with ISI in two different sessions for anyone from Tots to Adult. Classes are held on Sunday mornings before opening.  Each 7- week session cost is $120 per skater.
