Crown Center Shops will be second location in the Kansas City area for Canadian coffee chain.
KANSAS CITY, Mo. (June 12, 2025) — One of Canada’s largest and most popular coffee chains will soon join the restaurant options in the Crown Center Shops, making this the second Kansas City area location for Tim Hortons. The Canadian coffeehouse and restaurant chain serves coffee, donuts, breakfast sandwiches, wraps, and more.
The Crown Center location for Tim Hortons will be on Level 1 of the Crown Center Shops. The space consists of 1,216 square feet and will provide counter service with seating available in the Crown Center Shops atrium. The menu includes food and drink offerings for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

The first local Tim Hortons restaurant, located at 1900 N.W. HWY-7 in Blue Springs, Mo., is scheduled for a grand opening on June 20. Construction work will start on the Crown Center location soon, with an opening planned for late 2025.
“We can’t wait to introduce Tim Hortons to Kansas City, and Crown Center will be a great spot in Kansas City to reach both locals and visitors,” said Hossam Shahin, franchise owner. “In addition to these first two stores, we have signed leases for two more locations in the metro that we plan to open by end of 2025 or early 2026.”
