Greetings, Saul Steinberg

SPECIAL HOURS, THURSDAY, JULY 29:  2:00 PM - 6:00 PM

Presented by the Hallmark Art Collection, this exhibition features dozens of original mixed media drawings by Saul Steinberg, as well as historic product and correspondence from the Hallmark Archives. Perhaps best known for his cover illustrations for The New Yorker magazine, Steinberg was born in 1914 to a Jewish family in Romania, but fled Europe in 1941 to escape the persecution of Jews. He had a long partnership with Hallmark Cards, creating over 100 works for greeting cards, calendars, and gift products.

Looking for a way to engage younger family members in viewing art?  Ask our exhibit host for the "I Spy Card" and help them search various pieces for the items listed.

Entry may be limited so as not to exceed capacity and to allow for distancing.

Thank you for visiting Crown Center.  We look forward to seeing you soon!!
