The Hallmark-designed Mayor's Christmas Tree Ornament is made from the wood of last year's tree, which stood at Crown Center Square during the holiday season.
- Phone pre-orders for the 2010 ornament, "Centennial Ornament," will be accepted beginning October 1. Limit of two per customer, while pre-order supplies last. The ornament officially goes on sale at Crown Center Customer Service on Friday, November 26.
- All proceeds from ornament sales go to the Mayor's Christmas Tree Fund, which assists thousands of Kansas City's less fortunate each year.
- A limited supply of ornaments are available from 2001, 2003, 2006, 2007, 2008 and 2009.
