The Hallmark-designed Mayor's Christmas Tree Ornament is made from the wood of last year's tree, which stood at Crown Center Square during the holiday season.
- The 2009 ornament is "Gingerbread House." It is on sale exclusively at Crown Center Customer Service.
- All proceeds from ornament sales go to the Mayor's Christmas Tree Fund, which assists thousands of Kansas City's less fortunate each year.
- A limited supply of ornaments are available from 2001, 2003, 2005, 2006, 2007 and 2008.
